Thread: Lyle Foster

    Lyle Foster

Being as some of the posters on these threads are far better educated on football matters than myself, can somebody please explain to me what first attracted the powers that be at BFC to Lyle Foster?
For the last 14 months I have been trying like mad to figure it out but am still none the wiser-help please.

Yesterday was the first time ever in my life I watched a bloke with two left feet attempt to play professional football. The one where he got to the by-line in the first half and fell over his own feet with the goal at his mercy beggared belief.

He later attempted to head a ball, missed it completely, the ball hit him in the throat and then bounced off his own foot.

How in God's name he is being played on the wing with Benson on the bench defies any footballing logic or the art of science.

If this fellas attitude doesn't improve he should never play for our club again. He literally threw himself on the floor in the 2nd half and casually dragged his lazy frame off the floor and walked back into his own half. Lazy idle fecker, with the lad on loan from Chelsea being little better.

Ekdal another who was completely goosed after 60 minutes, who finished the game rolling around with cramp

This present set up is a joke. We must be the laughing stock of football managed by these ametuars who haven't got a clue

Vinni was asked at his Brighton presser why he's playing Foster on the wing when we have more actual wingers than you can shake a stick at. He said that if you actually watched him you'd realise he wasn't really playing as a winger. Make of that what you will.

He didn't look to be playing wide 1st half, but definitely was 2nd

Ekdal had not played for about three months, I thought he was M-o-M until he was so knacked he could hardly move.

Could not find fault with Ekdal. Foster is totally unpredictable and I don't understand why he is preferred to Amdouni or Benson as a starter.
Just one of the mysteries surrounding team selection and tactics at BFC over the last 9 mths.

To be honest neither or upto much, at least what you get from Jay is effort.

    Ekdal was ok.
To go down with cramp after 60 minutes is a joke at any level. Once again questions over the management have to be asked for fielding an unfit Player
