The last game against Cambridge at home was a draw and it ended up a draw second time around away.

Saturday's draw extends the unbeaten run to 13 games and the extra point ensures the team are safe in League 1 for next season.

Nathan Jones has done a brilliant job really in keeping the Add1cks afloat especially as so many were predicting relegation to L 2. Next season is time for converting more of those draws to wins and finishing up in the top 6 we hope.

Connor Wickham had a good game scoring the Charlton goal. The team had a flurry of chances to score more but could not quite finish them off.

It was a similar story in the 2nd period, until ex-Charlton player Bonne equalised for Cambridge.

Alfie May was unlucky not to score in the 77th minute when the ball hit the underside of the post for the Utd goalie to save, and he had another chance in stoppage time.

Cambridge Utd goal: Bonne 50

Charlton goal: Wickham 23
