I think I missed the 'prime' of his career. I remember him as someone who could be unplayable on his day but those days (at least for England) seemed few and far between. Given the way the game has gone these past 20 years I guess that pattern would be even more exaggerated and on those 'bad' days he would be getting real a hammering.
