    Reading other places

About the downsides to qualifying for Europe.

There is no downside as long as you don't start signing fat tony and paying him 7k a week.

Agree. Keeping as a target, but as the OF learned years ago, don't sign expensive players in the hope you can get past Christmas. Only invest what you have already won, in any attempt to go further in a competition.

It's not like the old days where it cost you money.

You qualify gives fans a great trip with competitive football.

You don't have to play LC groups.

You win a tie and you are quids in.

You win two you really have made Dosh.

Qualify for group stage money made would cover last year's total losses.

St M still favs obviously to hold onto 5th but there's a chance

After winning a cup qualifying for Europe thru league posistion is probably the next biggest thing DFC can achieve.

I think that we will receive a £1 million plus payout ring fenced for Youth Football as a result of a Scottish team qualifying for the group stage of this season’s Champions League.
In my opinion it is ridiculous the amount of money clubs receive when they qualify for the group states of the Champions League.
This money should be given to lower league clubs as without them the progression of players starting their football career at these clubs will end.
Young players cannot be sent out on loan to lower league clubs if they do not exist.
