Religion of whatever denomination should be entirely separate from the state, it just adds to division. I believe France has this in its statute, which is why any religious symbolism is banned.

Evolution has always fascinated me, the fact that a fish decides it needs to grow legs and change its lung function so it can walk on land and that it takes millions of years for that to happen.

No life has ever been created by something that is not life, which to me is the biggest case for religion and science co-existing.

Religious prophets and texts however were in my opinion a 'control the masses' strategy as part of early societal growth. Doesn't mean there isn't a god he's just not sending blokes to change the water to wine.
