The club is an underdog in the championship.

We used to be that in league one but we won't be seen that way next year and haven't for a while.

We've needed a them vs US underdog culture for a while. An up and at them attitude with a very say die ethic.

Warne did it to a degree but mainly through lifting people up and getting a collective spirit.

Warnock did it best and achieved a miracle.

Evans did It and dragged us into the Championship and kept us there.

"Whoever they are they don't want us here". He said that a few times and by God was he right.

This club is best when we are the difficult in your face club. We've lacked that for the last 18 months and arguably we were too soft under Warne when it came to players and managers having a pop at officials and getting the blood up.

Evans will bring that back. If nothing else, I feel more connected to the club than this morning. That's the power of what's just happened.

I wouldn't buy a used car off him, but he's got to be better than what we've had for the last two seasons. They'll certainly be a rocket or two incoming and that's heavily needed.
