"The Eagle has Landed" was about a plot to kill Churchill.

"A Bridge Too Far" was about Churchill's disastrous Operation Market Garden.

Killing Churchill wouldn't have been a good idea, same with Hitler. They both thought they were brilliant military tacticians but they were wrong.
