The problems are there for all to see, except for the blinkered.
Very few from this squad should be kept. And Hugill is suddenly back….a disgrace and should be sacked.

We've been waiting all season to see a wing/full back beat their man by running beyond them to receive a through ball to run on to and cross rather than come backwards to the half way line for it and then retreat even further with the ball as they can't beat a man.
And we've been waiting about 8 years, pre-Warne, to leave a man up at corners to give us an outlet.
We got both in the first 7 minutes.

Much, much more positive attitude and play.
The improvement may have looked better than it was by playing a poor team, but there was a positive impact that the previous change in manager didn't have. It's a start.

Steve Evans is no fool. After the last few days he realises that signing lots of injury prone old men is a recipe for disaster. By all means have a couple of three. But just look at all the oldies sitting it out today. A massive cull is about to happen. Fit young aggressive and mentally strong players are the order of the day now.

Never a Pringle Mk2, although Ollie had his best game for ages his crossing was dire, you could only say Pringle”s was excellent.

Thanks to Sheffield United’s tonking today we’ve lost the title of worst defence.

85 conceded by us 88 by the blades

As been said, much more application and determination to win the second ball. Doesn't however, cover the dire crossing and poor through balls.
Brum have twice the points total we have , but weren't twice as good.
Love Ollie but he could easily have been sent off today. A booking, kicked the ball away twice and bodycheck on their player.
