Birmingham City Post Match Thoughts

On reflection we've had a nightmare of a season and Birmingham's hasn't been much better. Just 6 months ago, before they jumped on the Wayne Rooney bandwagon they were 5th in the league and had 18pts from 11 games. Looking at the way John Eustace has performed at Blackburn they may well have been right to move him on but their choice of a replacement was nothing more than a publicity stunt and yesterday's performance may indicate they'll pay the ultimate penalty.

surprised they've been quite as bad as they have, but I guess no-one is too big to be relegated to L1

Stansfield we were said to be looking at him before this season started can see why. Stress only looking at! looks a genuine championship forward.

he was also interested in Jevani Brown - is now reunited with him at the Gas - not so hot this season, just one goal in 17 games at L1 level - bullet dodged there?
