    Just unfortunate.

I understand that many will disagree but I don’t think that we fluffed the chances yesterday, it was more a case of good defending by Leicester and plain bad luck on our part. Choudhuray made three fantastic saves on the line and we hit the bar on two occasions. I agree that in other games you can complain that it was poor finishing on our part but not yesterday. The Gods were not smiling on us. Having said this, they have smiled on us recently with Kipre’s handball v. QPR and the penalty given to us v. Rotherham.
Regarding yesterday’s result, I phoned a mate, who is Leicester fan, after the game and he said ‘How did we in that?’ Another chap sitting behind me said ‘ Well, I hope we go up automatically as I wouldn’t like to face this lot in the play offs.’ We did play well.

The issue for me is the fact we seem unable to stop the likes of Leicester from scoring a couple against us in a game.

Over two legs you can be sure that Leeds, Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich are likely to score three or four goals.

If we had a Megson type side that could limit the opposition to no more than two goals across two matches I’d give us a chance but I just don’t see us scoring the five or six goals we’re likely to need.

That said, we’ll probably go up having kept thee clean sheets!

Grady missed two easy ones. Their first goal was shocking and their second goal was courtesy of Townsend and Furlong! I agree about others!

There’s not a team in this division that doesn’t have their fullbacks beaten by a cross or not stopping the opposition striker in the box. Every forum will have those who keep slating the full backs and every forum will have those who don’t. The grass is always greener they say. Both Furlong and Townsend did some good tackles, clearances and blocks (Townsend early on which would have been a certain goal) Just like goalkeepers though a mistake and that’s all that many remember. Unfortunately it’s big practice these days to look for the mistake and “have a go” and disregard or even not mention the good stuff, not just in football but in everything. We live in a hyper critical society. I understand more and more the guy living in a cabin in the woods keeping away from everyone.

They are pro’s though mate, they should treat the job and the club with the due respect and particularly the fans.

To be fiddling with your sock as the ball goes out to the wide player who is your immediate responsibility is unforgivable and a professional sense.

Look at it again, it’s blatant, it’s a “can’t be a r s e d to make that bit of extra effort” type of mentality.

Speaking as someone who was beyond mediocre and played that same position I can honestly say that I never did that, it mattered much too much to me.

It doesn’t matter enough for a number of bang average footballers these days.

A mate of mine who works for Leicester City said that we are the best team he has seen at the King Power this season. He still can't believe that they won the game. He reckons that teams will be wanting to avoid us in the play offs.
