    Well said RS. Not the most comfortable of afternoons at times but ultimately they posed little threat. Less pleasant decisions can wait a while…in the meantime let’s just celebrate a job well done and, at long last, a season with a happy ending.

    One blot on the copybook though. If wed still got Rosenior as manager we would probably have won the title

    Lol…wouldn’t go that far, GP…credit where it’s due and all that…but, seeing as you’ve brought it up, it may be worth remembering that of yesterday’s two goal scorers…Rosenior had a great deal to do with Bird’s development as a youngster under both Cocu and Rooney and was responsible for bringing Collins to the club at a time of unprecedented difficulty.
