Cardiff v Nantes the final chapter?

So, Cardiff have finally submitted their claim against Nantes over the Emiliano Sala saga. Having failed to register their claim
through the Swiss Federal Tribunal they have now filed a complaint in a French court claiming losses of over £100 Million.

I cannot see how they can claim Emiliano Sala would have scored enough goals to have kept them in the Premier League. He may have been a flop, got injured, not integrated well and wanted to leave whatever, to say he would have been their saviour is pure want of hope they win their case. Sure will cost a lot of money fighting this one.

From what’s been described their case does seem to be built on ifs, buts, maybes and guesswork which I doubt will be a strong enough argument. Maybe there is more too it in the detail that will come out later.

As you say he might have scored some goals but for every goal he scored his defensive colleagues might have leaked three which is also very likely if they are going to use predictions as an argument
