splash the cash and we will survive, if we don't then we are down!

18 games left. We need 23-25 points to stay safe.

Our remaining games are as follows...

Cardiff A
Newcastle H
Chelsea A
Swansea H
A Villa A
Norwich H
S'Hampton H
Everton A
Hull H
Stoke A
Man Utd H
Sunderland A
Liverpool H
Arsenal A
C Palace H
West Brom A
Tottenham H
Man City A

A fair few "must win" games in there. But sadly we have only won 2 of those kind of games this season. (Cardiff and Fulham)

I honestly cant see where we can get those 23-25 points from. Lets remember that under Sam in the prem we have not won back to back games at all. Our away record is truly awful and a negative set up and respect the point attitude is not going to help us find those 6 or 7 wins.

Only 1 come from behind prem win under Allardyce aswell sugest that if we go a goal down thats that. Countless leads thrown away aswell.

Plus a never ending string of injuries to key players.

That final run-in aswell is a nightmare. 5 of the last 8 will be against sides making up the top 6 of the prem.

Im the same as dags, but feel we wont splash enough to save ourselves.

If im truly honest though, i think we might stand a better chance if wed rid ourselves of this dinasaur and have to keep what we got. Most the problem isnt so much the players we have, but the system we play.

When have we been more succesful in a game ? Thats what you need to ask, and it hasnt been by reverting back to his boring old tactics. Unfortunately those times have been very few, and surprisingly enough in a game he knew we would desperately love to win. Is it a temporary confidence in manager ploy on his behalf? cause we always seem to do it once and then revert back to type.

Or is it just me.

We are down, even the BFS supporters are struggling to post reasons why we'll stay up.

Divisions in the squad

A mad captain

No defenders

1 striker with 1 lg goal all year

Signings who would prefer to stay in their current clubs reserves rather than sign for us

Our best young defender facing a custodial sentence

Our top scorer and creative genius disillusioned with his contract running down

Our record signing still not available and likely to break down.

No return date for Winston Reid

An inability to beat the teams around us

A clueless manager who try's to protect a 1-0 loss rather than put on another striker.

Indecisive owners unable to learn from past errors.

Apart from that I'm sure we'll be fine.

Want to add that if we aproach those final 18 games with a positive, lets go and try and score more than the other team attitude we will stand more chance.

But sadly... SAM ALLARDYCE...

"1 striker with 1 lg goal all year"

Bit harsh of Miaga and Cole mate. They actually have a whopping 4 league goals this season between them. XD

I personally think we have zero chance.

so we need 25 points out of 56.

No chance of that Jimmy, he said that himself not long before the Fulham game and look how hard we tried.

I think we are f.ucked in all honesty. And here are my reasons why I fear the worst:

Any chance of survival would depend on us managing to string 2 or 3 wins together sooner rather than later and as we all know that just will not happen.

The transfer window will turn out to be a farce..We will huff and puff about Demba Ba, Rickie Lambert, Fabio Quagliarella, a CB, a midfielder et al and we will get...Kenwyne Jones and a couple of others equally suited to Championship football.

Sam will not change his tactics because of course he is right and obviously no one else in the country has any idea what they are on about. JFC! Sam at least let the players shoot when in a decent position!!! How many times this season has a player been in a good shooting position, only to hesitate and get tackled or play a poor pass?

The team is apathetic at the moment..We don't have a manager or captain capable of instilling the necessary desire within the squad to compete at an acceptable level.

We're down. End of.
Already ditched this years ST.
Can't watch any more. Once again this year, been home and away but finally had enough of this northern dog$hit dinosaur, the club, the ******** and lack of respect to the support.
Got to face facts and acknowledge it's finally the end of our traditions and my 40 odd years of loyalty. They're welcome to whatever is left but it ain't what I'm interested in anymore.
I'll stick to my memories and the f-uckin allotment.

RIP football.

Cole's contract expired on 31st December mate, I'm sorry to report that we really do only have 1 fit striker and rumours suggest we are willing to listen to offers for him. XD - view external link (www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/west-ham-transfer-news-evertons-2981450)

Sorry mate, thought you meant that only league goal this season had been scored by a striker.

As it satnds I think we are doomed but I said in another post I'll wait until the end of this tranfer window to make my final decision.

However if they were to get rid of sam and get somebody else, even a caretake and splash some cash i think we have a realistic chance of staying up.

Getting rid of sam may even be enough by itself as I dont believe the players can have any confidence in him whatsoever...especially now that I know of this fines for shotting from outside the box fiasco !
