I see the gay rights activists (ie the British press) are trying to turn this event into a political occasion.

Good on the Ruskies I say. They are close allies with the Serbs and I, for one, like them.

The BBC have unveiled all their flashy coverage across all media for the Games that nobody in their right mind will watch.

Meanwhile top flight Scottish football matches, and games involving the top League One club for that matter, are not all broadcast live and we have to settle for the infuriating Open All Mics.

I sometimes wonder why I pay my licence fee.

Winter Olympic sports all seem to be for affluent people.

The Ice Hockey is not bad, downhill ski-ing ok, a glimpse of some of the other sports, it's something different for a couple of weeks

Football outside of Scotland has gone overkill on TV.

How does someone go about tobogganing?

Start at the top of a hill.

There is a toboggan run near where I live. I went on it when I was pished back in my younger days.

Seems such a weird thing to do.
