Seeing as Lallana & SFc are making complete c#nts of themselves over the non incident ref Mark Clattenberg I feel its only fair that we join in the fun.

Things that upset Adam Lallana.
Being mistakenly referred to as Lallanis Morissette

Being asked to star in a children's TV show called 'Lallanas in Pyjamas'

people call Jaffa Cakes 'cakes' when they are biscuits! Adam knows this, cos he dunks them in his tea...twice!

Being asked to form an 80s pop trio called Lallanarama.

Getting the same Happy Meal toy 2 weeks in a row.

Feel free to add yours. But be careful he's a delicate little soul. XD XD

Well, in Brazil this summer, he's gonna be pretty upset by all those people telling him:

"you shouldn't be here"

He'll be crying his eyes out!
When I think back to Refs like Jack Taylor dealing with Chopper Harris, Peter Storey, Jackie Charlton, Billy Bremner, Tommy Smith etc etc.

VERY poor PR by the scum to get involved in this IMHO. They have made themselves a complete laughing stock and should simply have told La La to grow up! Quite ridiculous.

"Youre very different now since you played for England. You never used to be like this."

Its only what Bobby Moores missus said to him when he came home pissed after winning the World Cup.

Agree Chris. The shame of it is he's a very decent player but seemingly has a weak spot. Players all over the place will now exploit it. Stupid business.

You'd think somebody with a brain at SFC would take control of the situation and say... Come on, drop it, it'll make you (and us) look a right bunch of dicks if this comes out!
But no, SFC decide to 'take it further'. Nice bit of PR work there :D

Le Tiss didn't seem too impressed with the affair when he was asked about it on Sky.
He said he always enjoyed it when refs had a bit of banter with him. Seems all rather childish to me...not good PR for a grown up football club.
(Isn't LaLa one of the teletubbies?)

A big baby in LA LA land... He should keep to playing with his J ROD, or even his own stinky winky.

Another blot on Clattenburg's record to accompany all the others. Alleged racist abuse, accusations of bias and partiality plus numerous questions about his competence.

An official complaint to his professional body from the club not the player, carries more weight than mere complaints aired in the press.

Hopefully he won't be officiating at St Mary's for the forseeable. If that's the case it will have been worth the effort and criticism.

Fallen into a trap there Kernow. All the time players continue to be mollycoddled then they'll live in their little coc o o n.
You need to see the wood through the trees on this one. Take those red blinkers off Mate.

Bit harsh Chris, can you another winger who's played better than him this season?

Sorry Harv, but to be honest we don't know of a bigger, or better whinger than Lallana.

Seems hardly fair that you can complain about a referee and then have him never ref your games again. Does that not mean you gain an advantage over other clubs who would still have to be inflicted with said 'poor ref' at their games.

As there are only 18 on the PL referees list at this moment in time,

Messrs Atkinson Clattenburg Dean Dowd East Foy Friend Jones Madley Marriner. Mason Moss Oliver Pawson Probert Swarbrick Taylor Webb

it stands to reason that eventually he will be appointed to one of their games in either the PL or the FA Cup. I'd fancy that appointment when it comes will be an away game, He may of course not get an appointment at St Marys in what remains of this season. We shall see

Just had a look at this weekends appointments Howard Webb is at St Mary's for the visit of the Baggies. Clattenburg meanwhile takes charge of Hull v Chelsea.

I'd have Clattenberg reffing every game involving SFC until the end of the season. >:)

OH Jeezus! How the feck is Clattenburg gonna cope with a Big game? Steve Bruce must be worried sick about the potential bedwetting from his players.

This is the trouble when average players get promoted beyond their ability and start believing their own publicity, or that of their Agents.

Obviously, in the light of Llallana's subsequent actions and words, the alleged aside by the referee must have hit home on a raw nerve, indicating a fair element of truth in them.

As others have said elsewhere: immaturity wins again. In a REAL job, Alan, you would get far worse than that every working day from your colleagues and mates, let alone the bosses.

But then professional football is not a real job, is it? Blokes are just playing at it.
