a surreal moment, but i bow to the Aberdeen legend, it probably should have been a goal that stood :(

Looked like a foul to me.

If Boyd does that against the Matalan Catalans, he'll be hearing from Ban Ki Moon.

He may have been defending him to try and prove his impartiality.

Anyway, calling it a 'disallowed goal' is tosh - everyone had stopped due the ref blowing, and the fact that Boyd then dinked it into the net is immaterial - he should probably have been booked for kicking the ball away.

Anyway, Boyd was actually impressive nonetheless - he uses his experience and ample posterior to muscle defenders well and we all know he can finish. McInnes sorted us out into playing a higher line at half-time though and Boyd was seldom seem after that.
