No surprise that one, that's the back covered. He can play central mid as well .

On to the next one, a striker hopefully

Loan or permanent do you know?

He's a decent player too by all accounts, seen him play a few times for Derby.

I'm sure he'll do a job for us.

Does not play enough games for me, 105 games in 8 years, still only 24 though ,so room to improve on that, not sure what position he has been brought in to cover for ?

Centre back, big lad!

Not sure on length of deal but he's training with us this morning.

Central mid/defender ATM I would imagine SE will put him in defence

He'll be 25 tomorrow

Mills for Miles, reckon that's the Millers one up!

Should we be concerned that he hasn't played a competitive game since November 2012?

Be surprised if he's not in team on Saturday so we'll know then if it's a concern

His preferred position is central midfield! :? :/ :?

His preferred position is central midfield! :? :/ :?

Bradley is according to some on here but he's been brilliant at full back over the past couple seasons.

He's been playing CB for most of his appearances with Barnsley and most notably, Bournemouth.

Don't know too much of the lad but good luck to him and hope our fans give him a chance.

Played CB more times than not i believe, so that's where he'll be playing for us. Has played CDM though. A leader on the pitch which is always good. Very big and strong like Davis but also doesnt have much pace like Davis and Morgan :/
Got to be better than Mills :D

Well I'll certainly not judge him until I've seen him play two or three times for us, but it's a bit confusing when his Wiki stats say that "his preferred position is central midfield"!

How many times this season have posters come on here and said that so-and-so had a bad game, and then other posters saying, "yes, but that's not his preferred position though"?

Surely if we need a central defender then we should sign somebody who prefers to play in that position! :?

It's probably "nit picking" on my part but we'll see!

Good luck to him and I hope he settles in at our club and does a good job for us! :)

So he should be straight in to the team for Saturday?

Derbymiller

excellent that is what we needed first to have 4 quality CB at the club and a young player from our own youth team that can step in in case of emergencies

Will be an interesting week

Here until the end of season

Why are fans saying good signing? No first team football since Nov 2012 .

Makes sense given he hasn't had much game time in the last couple of seasons.

More page 7 than a headline signing.

But let's give the lad a chance and not "do a Shearer" on him.

To be on the safe side I think I'm going to slag him off before he has a chance. ;)

Nowt wrong with us getting good loan signings... BUT... how do we stop 'em being called back early? Could hurt us like Dicko's call back - we need a core team of full time players who are good enough to be signed on 2 year contracts and need stability.
