No - but thanks to Google Maps I now know where it is. Don't think there will be much big game hunting there like you get around North Yorkshire ;D

Scarb, we went in May last year and it's probably better to go a bit later in the year to get better weather. It's a small island north east of Madeira & you can now fly direct-we went from Manchester. The beach is 9km long and was largely deserted probably due to the lack of commercialisation but that won't last-google Ronaldo's 7 star hotel & you'll see what I mean. Going on the jeep safari will mean you'll see the island in half a day, there is a golf course if that's your thing but apart from that there's not much else to see or do. Nice little island and if you want a quiet holiday with no nightlife to speak of it could fit the bill.
