is being touted as a replacement for BS

at least according to the telegraph..

Billy Davies is the shock in the frame to take over at West Ham if co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold finally bow to growing pressure and sack Sam Allardyce.

Davies was in charge of the Nottingham Forest team who thrashed a young West Ham side 5-0 in the FA Cup last Sunday.

Despite public backing from Sullivan and Gold, Allardyce is in desperate need of a positive result against fellow Premier League strugglers Cardiff City tomorrow after a 6-0 trouncing at Manchester City in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday followed the humiliation at Forest.

West Ham chiefs have considered what they would do if Allardyce cannot turn around the increasingly desperate situation and Davies is understood to feature high in their contingency plans. Davies was considered for the West Ham job before Allardyce took over from Avram Grant in 2011 and has continued to impress.

One or two have.

But the one Pinky & Perky appointed was called Alex McLeish.

Lou Macari wasn't much cop either.

Our own WHU was ridiculed by many when he suggested Martinez. Doesn't look too shabby a suggestion now does it?

It would have to be Slaven Bilic out of the 3 mentioned...

I would also like to think that , they would think really carefully before picking a new Manager .

Imo the next one we get after BFS , needs to be the one that moves us forward & we stick with as it's getting embarrassing now keep sacking the Manager ...

For our move to the OS to be successful , we need to start building from now & right through out the club.

At the risk of being boringly repetitive we can't expect to move on until Pinky & Perky are consigned to the great dustbin of history.

Let's get the lies and the spin out into the open and move on.

would it? ;D
