any striker worth his salt should have hit the target from there, but he placed it nicely up and away from the keeper.

a well taken opportunity from the cobra... still a crowd favourite :D

very composed for carlton ... really good goal and that and today's result should boost a bit of confidence for him and the team

I'm glad he got on the score sheet today .

Just wonder now Carroll is back , could that be the last goal he does score for us or is he trying to earn an extension .

Going to be an interesting month now with several strikers being closely linked , who will stay & who will go...

I hope we manage to get some defender's in ASAP.

Hope Demel is ok , didn't sound to good for him being rushed off to local hospital...

hopefully we've learnt a lesson from the off-season debacle.

no matter what we think of his abilities or lack of as a striker its hard not to like the bloke.

he always tries etc etc , today he got another goal for us that helped us and will only help his confidence.

ok it was fairly simple for him but you have to be there in the first place, not all goals are screamers, but they all count
