re: Breaking news!
Hello all, Wiganer here, just heard the news that our lad Grant Holt, or Eeyore as we like to call him, may be on his way to you. Not sure if it is a loan or permanent but I would expect some kind of fee to be involved. We don't have much of a transfer budget so I can only assume that we're not paying you too much to take him off our hands.

Now, being serious, on behalf of Wiganers thank you for this. Holt was the epitome of the cancer that Owen Coyle brought into our club, lazy, slow, Immobile and confined to plan A. If he does leave Wigan this window he will have no shortage of offers of lifts to his new destination.

Considering that we were postulating destinations such as Bury and Rochdale for him I am surprised to see you after him. Heaven help you if he's going to be relied upon for goals...or moving a bit for that matter.

The guy has a point, Holt is past his sell by date and probably only in it for the money. Villa never, probably a Scottish team like Cowdenbeath where he can help remove the Saturday market stalls before the game.
Great for us but not for The Premiership

Remember Holty wanted to leave City to be nearer to home, from Norwich 290 miles, from Brum 190 miles, well its a bit closer, but still a fecking long haul.
So now we know that wasn't the reason, maybe it was the pies, have a funny sort of feeling it was our exciting style of football.
Well I kind of wish him all the best, after all everyone knows how "great he was for Me" =(Lambert), I think this could be a joke of a transfer, and could well see the end of PL.

This could be lamberts cunning plan, sign holt and hoolahan, the two big players who helped him get to the prem, and the two that will keep him there.
sadly i think he will be right :blue:
