Ridiculously low at the moment in my opinion, particularly with the 'living wage' argument.

£6.31 per hour for a 37.5 hour week works out to just £12,300 a year.

Never understand either how it's fair to pay people between 18 and 20 £1.28 less an hour than those 21 and over.

If it does rise to seven pounds an hour the techy guys employed by footymad will be celebrating. XD

With an election around the corner, surely not?

They'll be promising to keep pensions safe next

The issue of minimum wage and living wage is becoming an issue for many...are we gonna end up with the living wage instead following mass twining ?. Its not a lot of money either way but sadly we are stuck with it for now,but small businesses will be affected massively should it increase considerably. Mind percentages of other things going up way more than wages should be limited..trains,fuel bills to even it up a bit.

and politicians meanwhile want to vote themselves in a large pay rise.>:( >:( maybe more folk would be inclined to vote for them if they tried to survive on 6.31 an hour for a couple of weeks

Careful now. If they put it up we'll have to pay Potts more.
