I once took a crutch into Twickenham!! Took me ages getting up all those steps.

MIR on Wednesday and get results next week.

Unfortunately, something went majorly pop yesterday afternoon and has left me hobbling around like an old man. I've got tickets for Arsenal in a week or so and may have to use the stick.

Won't be a problem, Pents..

If it does turn out to be cartilage issues, you need to buy yourself some Glucosamine and Chondroitin tablets. They encourage cartilage growth.

Kirkland the best make.

I hobble round like the old man that I am and have no problem with stick at FP. Can't believe St.Marys would be any different if you clearly need it.
If you went in whirling it around your head you might get a different reception. ;D ;D

Good luck with the MRI and be prepared to lie still for half an hour!

Has it balloned up at all? If so get some ice on it asap to reduce the swellng and maximise movement.

Sorry, my post was worded badly. I've already had the scan and get the results next week, it's blimming noisy !

Guess it will be good to finally get out of the flat, unaided by the emergency services for once, Slim.

Good luck with the gastric band!

Pents, what was the outcome in the end, is the knee shot?

The MRI was inconclusive but they reckon I have a vertical and horizontal tear in my cartilage and possibly a 'mystery' flap.

I'm booked in for surgery (keyhole) at the end of February.

Doesn't sound too bad then but i guess it depends on whether the "mystery flap" is a positive or not XD

Can recommend a "service bell" app (if available on windows mobile of course ;D) for after surgery, a simple tap on that will keep Mrs Pents on her toes.
