Unfortunately we do not have a goalscorer on the club's books. If we do not do something about that I reckon this could go right down to the wire. I think there are two worse clubs than us but please don't ask me to them. Overall I think we will survive but a few scares along the line.

Whilst I'd love to say "yes" with confidence, Bristol Rovers have a game in hand on us and that only leaves Torquay and Northampton behind us and they didn't play yesterday.

Whilst we're looking more difficult to beat we also don't seem capable of winning games. Only one win under Barker so far which suggests we haven't improved that much.

We'll be struggling til the end but I think we'll have enough to survive. Just.

As Kendal says a good run of 3 or 4 games would ease the worries a bit, it's pretty alarming to see us one point above a relegation spot.

A week, a month in football is such a long time. Pompey could easily get it together and end up top 7,or they could continue in their current guise and end up bottom by march. Its impossible to call, but i fairly optimistic we'll end up 11th come the end.

With the shoite benched or reserved(they've had more than a fair go) and the new recruits finding their feet. I think we'll win enough to easily be safe.We are pompey,its what we do...

I'm glad of that comment. I think Eastleigh are a well put together side. They deserve better support from their locals who inhabit the nether regions of Chandlers Ford.

Pompey fans have always had a soft spot for Eastleigh rather than its more pretentious southern neighbour.

I certainly feel happier tonight than I have for a long time. RB has produced a far better organised team than the one he took over. Now they need to create more, stop giving the ball away so cheaply and sort our dead ball plays out.
