So he was in charge of Blackburn when they got sold to Venkys?

He's from Totton and it would appear that he left Blackburn shortly after the Venkys debacle started happening.

Well me either, but he does effectively have that Blackburn fiasco on his CV so I'll cling to that. I'm sure he's a very nice bloke though.

He was effectively pushed out by the Venky's, apparently.

Only left Manchester City because his wife fell ill..
