We've been linked with him.

Prefer Rhodes but I'd take him over Wickham - view external link (http://news.ladbrokes.com/en-gb/football/championship/forest-to-boost-promotion-chances-with-on-loan-hull-city-striker_184294.html)

Decent hold up player and target man, probably better than Hendo for the same role and if we take him on loan we can review it at the end of the season.

Probably more realistic than soem of the other targets mentioned.

Not for me. Has a 1 in 20 hit rate. We have bucket loads of those. If we insist on playing 1 man up front, he has to be big/mobile/ an at least an average hit rate. Graham, is not it.

Yes i would take him it is not what he is doing in prem but what he can and has done in this league. No brainer for me on loan to end of season and then lets see where is the gamble with both miller and derbyshire prob off the wage list

I am assuming we will be paying 2/3 of Miller's and Derbyshire's wages... Can't see the clubs linked paying A?12k and A?17k respectively, if reports are to be believed.

His stats at Watford in the championship were v. good, albeit a few seasons ago but still worth a go for a loan. - view external link (http://www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=38086)

Can't be any worse than sammon.
I would rather have a in form Wickham than an out of form graham.

Connor sammon that has scored 11 in his last 93 games?lol.
Cox has scored 10 in his last 55.I'm carp at maths but I'm having a wild guess that Cox has a better strike rate.
So I'm sticking with he can't be any worse than sammon

yes please think he'll fit right in and as miller is proving a change of scenery can do you the world of good.

Not necessarily so, a change of scenery did'nt do us much good when Miller came to us. It all depends if he's hungry enough and has not got creaking joints. He's got a lot of mileage on his clock.

No way . He was bombed out by swsnsea for basically having a big drink problem

No thanks he's no better than we've already got. Much rather play with Halford and then Henderson up top.

We're the 4th highest goal scoreres in the league so I wouldn't say we've got too much of a problem.

I thought that 'carp' typo was a really clever and witty reference seeing as Sammon had been mentioned in the thread.

But then I realised it was Mr Sheen on the Forest board.

Is that the Conor Sammon that hasn't even started a league game for us this season? cox is your first choice striker! What happened to Hooper, Austin, Rhodes???
