On average, most of the 4th placed teams who finish in the promotion play offs tend to have around 54 - 57 points at the end of the season.
At the other end of the table, most teams who finish second bottom tend to have around 23 - 25 points.
If we can secure 7 wins from the remaining 15 matches we should finish mid table or above.
To reach the play offs we would probably need to win 12 of the next 15 games, which by any standards would be very difficult , almost impossible.
Finishing mid table would be respectful and is well within our reach - think this should be a realistic aim for the season.
All the above depends on how results go elsewhere, but the previous seasons suggest these figures are a good guide line.
