Like a lot of politicians, Blair has an answer to everything, even brought Syria into the equation in conversation with the man who tried the citizens arrest.

Vote labour. You know it makes sense. The alternative is more of the sycophantic knobs who purport to rule at the mo.

We all know that that is a bit of a joke. Cameron and the Tories are in charge.

The liberals are all too busy arguing between themselves to rule a country.. Quite ironic really as the liberals have an image of constanlty arguing but never getting anywhere.

Nick Clegg made a real for himself early doors w

The situation we now find ourselves is the result of Maggie Thatchers policys. She sold everything and tried to bring the working class to their knees.
This lot aint no better, they just want us all on the minimum wage while they line their own pockets.

If we lived in a true democracy Westminster would be full of independent MP's not the Labour/Tory cartel.
Watch this space, Russia, China and India will soon be the biggest economies in the world leaving Britain in tatters, capitalism will be this country's downfall.:s

Haven't all those countries been built on capatitalism?

Some of the largest corporations in the world come from those countries. Gasprom , huwaei, airtel etc etc.

All of the above already have economies bigger than ours which is why we are investing in India and China.

I can't see your point? There is no better way than capitalism. Even communist state can see that?

Britain is becoming a smaller fish in an ever bigger pond and it won't be long until the USA sinks down the economic ladder too. When the tide turns and we in the West are the ones living off a bowl of rice a day you may have to explain

I had a similar conversation with an anti capitalist the other day. I am open to change as I accept that there are certain large corporate organisations that have, shall we say, a lack in moral fibre.

Several questions I have not heard an answer too.

1) what is a viable alternative to capitalism?
People want to better themselves, people respond to competition. How can we have a one size fits all culture? Business will always have big fish and small fish.

2) without business expansion how do you accommodate jobs for the masses?

3) how is wealth created?

4) who controls the wealth. ( hopefully not communist where wealth is governed by the government and corporates have zero power).

If you can answer these ***** questions I will consider another way of living until then. I will take my chances in a global economy and embrace the likes of china, India and up coming capitalist nations?

1. What better than people working and living in harmony for the common good.

2. There's plenty of work for idle hands in this country, unfortunately it will never be done a) because there is no profit in it for the private sector b) the public sector can't afford to do it without borrowing from the capitalist system.

3. I take it you're on about financial wealth, if we are all working as one then who needs excess cash.

4. The WEALTH would be distributed more evenly by the people.

TBH, I don't have the answers to the worlds problems, but one things for sure the capitalist system doesn't want equality. Governments shout about equality and being a part of the community and being a good citizen, when in reality it's dog eat dog out there.
China and Russia don't have the best track records when it comes to human rights, when they become the worlds super powers, life might get tougher for a lot more people around the globe.

I am far from wealthy mate. This has nothing to do with me. I am talking about how a society works. Capitalism is the way forward.

As for other economies rising, we need to join the growing economies and assist in their growth. That way we benefit from the now global economy too.

That's all. I just can't see a better way. That's why Cameron out in china recently was so important to our countries future.
