As the lights fall on Burns Night we present our most ambitious piece of work yet. Full of colour and creativity, as we tell the story of the aa‚Eœunknown soldieraa‚a„¢ who goes to war one hundred years ago.
Running from George Street, all the way around Burns Statue and down the High Street aa‚a€œ our Homecoming Carnival will celebrate the magical potential of 2014 in Scotland through a large scale community parade.
Over 2,000 people will be taking part in the most colourful carnival Dumfries has ever seen. Come and join us as we mark the 2014 Festival through the special year of Homecoming with an outdoor extravaganza.
