Sitting second from bottom of the Championship this should be a formality. However, with nearly 3000 farmers making the journey to the home of Southern football, and a makeshift, weakened defence, I'm not convinced it will be that easy.

I'd take a 1-0 right now, but you just know that Ishmael Miller will be on the score sheet. For the love of God and everything that is holy, let's hope that Guly, Fox and Hooiveld are kept away from this potential banana skin.

In KL we trust

Just over 21,000 tickets sold so far.

The remainder of the day for last minute online sales and allowing for walk-ups tomorrow,it should be a reasonable turnout..

Understand the club have refused to allocate any further tickets to Yeovil, which given the numbers sold so far would be sad if true.

I wonder if that's because they had already sold most of the Northam to home supporters and have nowhere else for any extra Yeovil fans to be seated ??

If we take the game seriously, show Yeovil some respect and put out a strong team then we should win pretty comfortably.
If we select Hooiveld, Fox and Do Prado then we might as well concede the tie now and save every the effort of going to the game.
It's at times like this when we are reminded just how thin our squad is, some of the stiffs were just about good enough in league 1 let alone the championship.

Two things;

1) I thought cup competitions offered greater capacity for away fans?

2) The away fans are in the wrong place at SMS imo.

1) 15%, I believe. But if a couple of the corners were closed off, reducing the total capacity ??

2) No argument from me, although it would take some fairly major work to relocate them.

Is that true?

I was expecting a crowd of about 12k which is one of the main reasons I'm not going, but that's a pretty good turnout.

As for the team, I'd like to see the likes of Gallagher and Reed given a game from the start, see what they can do.

Is that true?

Appears so - according to Jim Lucas, ticket sales were 21,096 at last count (yesterday afternoon).

To put that in context it's more than double 'big city' team Birmingham got at home to a Premier League team.

To put it into a local context, 24,000 is twice as many as another club had when they played Yeovil in a league game just over a year ago.

Talking of the GLCT's, did they tear Morecombe a new one today?

I'm guessing they did as they continue to p1ss that league :P

No updates on yesterdays game involving our charity thieving neighbours then? Hardly surprising given their fickle support.

As an aside, I thought the Yeovil fans did well yesterday. No sign of any trouble, and they were vocal throughout B)
