Goodison Park Side Keen On Signing Liberty Stadium Favourite.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez is said to be lining-up a bid to raid his former club Swansea City in pursuit of midfielder Leon Britton.
The Toffees boss is keen to strengthen his midfield, no doubt aware that a move to sign loaned in star Gareth Barry on a permanent basis is unlikely, and is ready to offer 3.5m for 31 year old Liberty Stadium favourite.
Britton has made a total of 441 appearances for his Welsh side over the course of two spells at the club and may be open to a fresh challenge and a move to Goodison Park may tempt the pint sized central midfielder.
Martinez is keen to strengthen his squad as Everton challenge for a top four finish and given Swansea City's poor run of form it seems likely that Britton would consider a move.
