Everton make Sergio Canales transfer move as the midfielder looks to leave Valencia on loan.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez has made an enquiry to Valencia about Spanish midfielder Sergio Canales, writes Tom Hopkinson in the Sunday People.
The former Real Madrid player is not in new boss Juan Antonio Pizzi's plans and wants a loan move for the rest of the season.
La Liga sides Real Betis, Real Sociedad and Malaga are also in the race for Canales, but the good news for the Toffees is he's not busting a gut to join any of those teams.
The 22-year-old is still considered a real prospect in his homeland, despite injuries and personal problems stunting his progress and causing him to leave the Bernabeu.
