After the injury to Zander Clark tonight ,and the likelyhood that he won't be fit for the game on Saturday against Livingston who do you think should start in goals? After Jim coming on and playing the way he did against Morton he gets my vote ,hope he gets a run in the team and proves all the doubter's wrong!

Atkinson for sure , he'll not get much experience sitting on the bench each week & he deserves his chance in the 1st team

Zander Clark confirmed tonight on his twitter account that he'll be out for approx 2 weeks >>>>>

@Zanderr1: Ah well looking at 10-14 days out depending on how quickly inflammation goes down ! Bit of a bummer but suppose it's all part of the game

Young Atkinson for me.

His distribution is excellent, but for his bravery alone he deserves to play.

dropping jim now would ultimatly shatter the lad hes waited and finally got his chance v morton dropping him for a keeper short of confidence and a keeper whos lost a lot of goals this season would be shocking

Never thought I would say this but Jim deserves to play tomorrow then take it from there.
Antell is not as bad as some fans think but just for the way Jim played on Wed he deserves to play.

Not too sure on this one Jim had a good game against a team at the bottom of the league but theirs only one way to find out? who ever is in goals WILL get my 100% backing keepers can do with out the stupid remarks they can clearly hear by the fans behind them.

Young Jim had a fine game today in dreadful conditions. He didn't have a huge amount to do but he was quick off his line to gather through balls on the greasy surface and kicked out into the wind well.
He was well potected by the defence and the ridiculous pen was well taken and he had no chance with it.
Antell was on the bench.

he'd didnt have much to do today but looked assured in goals and he is distribution is probably better than zanders, i do think when fit zander is prob overall safest set of hands at this moment but tbh if we stuck with Jim for the rest of the season i dont think he'd let us down.

Former Queens keeper signs for Raith Rovers >>>>>>

From Raith Rovers website

We are delighted to announce that we have, this afternoon, completed the signing of goalkeeper Lee Robinson (27). After leaving Queen of the South at the end of last season (having won a Ramsdens Cup winners medal following that memorable penalty shoot out!!), the Englishman spent the first half of this season with IFK Ostersunds of Sweden. Lee joins us for the remainder of this season and will vie with Ross Laidlaw for the No 1 jersey.

Lee will not be available for selection until International Clearance is confirmed by the Swedish FA.

Felt really sorry for young jim and the sending off against Dundee, the lad has the making's of great goalie! Hope the incident doesn't dent his confidence because he really command's his goal area leading to some great distribution and starting attacks from the back a bit like Robbo. Saying that I thought that was one of Calum's best performance's in the Queens jersey ,looked more assured in coming out to catch the ball from crosse's on a number of occasion's! Well done to him too ,could be interesting situation for Mr McIntyre on whom to pick when all fit and free from suspension.

Robison's debut for Raith didn't go too well losing a goal after only 3 minutes to a shot from 30 yards and another three before half time before Rovers pulled two back very late in the second period.

Zander Clark starts training again today so hopefully he'll be available for selection on Saturday ...

Lack of height will not do Jim any favours in the goalkeeping stakes although it didn't hinder Andy Goram too much.

Jim is actually taller than Lee Robinson & Calum Antell.

Stats say Atkinson 1.80
Antell 1.88
and tbh the Welshman does looks
taller than the English lad.

Robinson yeah but Antell looks a lot taller. Must be an optical illusion if Atkinson is taller than Antell .

Meant to say Jim & Calum are the same height. Jim has grown since the team photo. Calum has bigger hair!

Wish we didn't need to talk about keepers getting chances.

Hopefully clark will be able to play at the weekend.

if we're serious about making the play-offs then time for chances is over, zander must play if fully fit ahead of antell.

Give Antell some slack he had No coaching at the start of the season and even on Saturday the two clowns that stands right behind him at the front shouting at him putting the lad off instead of concentrating on what he's meant to be doing we must be the only supporter's that put our own team off?

Otherwise known as the above .

Some of their shouts & comments are cringeworthy ;)

Strange comment, given that the two at the front have been very supportive towards Callum Antell all season. Could pass comment on some less than supportive comments that have been directed towards him from further up the terrace but can't be bothered getting into a s**t fight.
