As a season ticket holder and life long Millwall supporter I am appalled to hear that Lewisham Council has decided to sell key areas around the Den to Renewal Ltd.

I am also extremely concerned that the council refuses to consider Millwalls plans and has declined to share the commercial information the Club would have required to make its own bid to buy the three parcels of land.

What exactly does all this mean to the future of the Football Club?

I thought we were well in with the council, I wonder if they were offered more money by Renewal. But maybe we have left it too long.
It stinks to me.

Does seem odd that the council didn't even ask Millwall for talks over the regeneration project.

The car park, a space behind the stadium and the Lions Centre are all under threat.

In addition the council refuses to disclose the terms of their agreement with the developer, making it difficult for Millwall to present a rival bid.

Maybe Renewal Ltd gave someone at the council a backhander?

Surely Millwall F.C. can appeal to the Office of Fairtrading the way Lewisham Council have acted is way out of order :blue: :blue:
