Woeful defending by the whole team

Going forward we were a threat .... But you just cannot excuse the way we defended first half. We were woeful, and that's not just the back five I am talking about, it's the whole team.

Even Sheerin is critical of the way his team defended on Saturday. You've got to give him huge credit for his honesty. Perhaps credit for the honesty too of all the Lichties supporters on these pages, who chose to be critical of the team rather than the officials??? :/

For the record, yes the officials were absolutely atrocious on Saturday. This could not and should not however, by any stretch of the imagination, by used to mask criticism of an inept display in the art of defending.

Yes, the weather was bloody horrendous but the fact remains that they scored three times and we only twice. They had to play their way through the storm just like us.
