We have enough missiles to destroy the planet several times over. Which is important really. More important than health, environment and well, anything else.

Here's Britain's latest $300 million project. Can't think of anything better to spend the money on. If your homeless, hungry and sick this will bring great comfort. - view external link (http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-02-06/taranis-drone-uk-mod-bae-systems-woomera-south-australia/5242636)

It does seem that way,eh win. If it wasn't for the church the government would have voluntary euthanasia for the 70+ That would free up the cash a bit.

AV those tanks are probably North Korean swapped for some rice. The size of the Aussie war fund was a surprise but we do have lots of shiny new toys on order and Tony Abbot is doing his best to piss off the Indonesians.

Bet you don't see this on the news today but today is the first day the European missile defence starts to be put in place

----------------

The first of four US high-tech destroyers arrived in Spain Tuesday to form a key part of a ballistic missile shield for Europe which Russia says directly threatens its security.

The USS Donald Cook took up station in the southern port of Rota from where it will operate as an anti-missile platform and take part in other tasks such as maritime security and NATO deployments, a statement said.

"For the first time, a ship of the United States Navy equipped with the Aegis ballistic missile-defence system is permanently based in Europe" NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said. "The arrival of the USS Donald Cook marks a step forward for NATO, for European security, and for transatlantic cooperation," Rasmussen said.

Three other Aegis destroyers will be deployed over the next two years as the missile shield takes form after NATO agreed its d

I guess to keep a powerful presence and influence in SE Asia. China doesn't have much history of invading other countries and usually concentrate on defense, such as the great wall.

Cetus 14. The Marines from 3 Commando Brigade – along with their attached Royal Naval personnel – are being taught how to survive, move around on skis and also fight in the difficult conditions.

They must ski across the mountains while carrying weapons and 70lb bergens, construct makeshift shelters from brushwood, and build fires to keep warm and cook their dinner.Food is usually chicken, which they must kill themselves, and vegetables which they are taught how to prepare with only basic equipment.
