Reading this interview, and comments by Kortney Hause, the academy seems to be getting a good rep with young players, and the facilities are making a good impression on our trialists. Keeping our category 1 status will be increasingly important as time goes on; we can't hope to compete with the bigger clubs when it comes to the transfer market, and our best chance of finding really talented players may be by "growing" our own.

Now it's up to KJ and the current team to continue to progress until more of the current or future youngsters make it through to the first team.

This rather adds weight to my comments under"Morgans the man" blog insofar as the vast amount being spent on the training ground is already paying dividends by influencing young players to sign with us. When and if we go up this will also be a factor with more established players we will need to recruit.
