If you have a hour to spare watch this wonderful old film about the history of Brum, made by Villa fan Carl Chinn. - view external link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjoR7bLx-KM)

I had twenty minutes. Really good. And folks today think they work hard. I'll save this for my old Mom she'll love it.

Bloody magic mate. I am so happy I have stumbled on this little corner of your board. Very special. Although I am from Wolvehampton I know Brum very well. I worked for a company in Newhall Street, still do actually although I now live in the states.

Love Malcolm Stent, love his monolouge about the kids playing football in the street.

Thanks again.

BB, I must confess I haven't had a chance to look at more than the first 5 minutes of your link. I did, however, email the link to my best friend from school days as her dad, like you, is really into Villa and Birmingham history, so I thought it would be right up his street. Just got a text message to say thank you, he absolutely loved it. So just passing on the thanks to you ...
