Apparantly DW suspected something fishy was going on and when he found out the culprit he said he felt like battering him.
The culprit said the six grand deficiency was due to giving Grant Holt free fish, chips, peas and gravy since signing.!

You're codding us with that one. The portions there are far too small for anyone to put weight on.

I would haddock a guess a better defence for the culprit would have been that the 6 grand had been spent on free gaviscon for the diners as they leave.
