My god.
Yesterday's 1st half performance was awful.
They went through our midfield like it wasn't there.
Lennon was not offering width an there was no movement off the ball. I can't recall a cross lennon made. Walker cannot cross either.
Eriksen is NOT a LM. He's wasted there, and comes inside offering no width and less help to Rose.

Watching MOTD I saw Holtby picked out a wonderful pass.

1st half At times there were 4 Everton defenders in a line inside their 18yrd box.
Yet we had nobody running into the space down the left/right stretching their back four and making space for Adebayor/whoever. We were playing in the middle, in front of them where it was congested and tight.
Lennon was standing back to defender, and so was Adebayor. Nobody peeled off and offered a pass. Rose/Walker never overlapped.

Vertonghen was immense and Lloris was solid.

I don't know I thought we were lucky not to lose it 1st half. If Everton would have had a striker we probably would have
