Thank God Steve finally started the lad
Thought we were going to end up with another Bougherra, where Dario had him on the bench for the first few weeks because "he wasn't ready".
Steve has been guilty of some Gradi isms this season - Late substitutions
Picking odd selections, but hopefully now he will get a good run in the team, instead of inflicting poor old AJ on us.
Looking forward to playing Brentford now - fight fire with fire, see if we can avoid our usual drubbing off them.
With Chucks, Uche and now Pogs all scoring, be hard to contain us, maybe we should gave brought Abdul on at 3-2 to shore up the midfield, but a draw away at a team above us is a good point.

Listening to the post match analysis, it appears that Uche has not been match fit and that is why he has not been selected to start before yesterday. He is still not quite there and that is why he only lasted two thirds of the game. Also he had his ankle strapped at

Straight from the horses mouth:

In the Sentinel, Steve Davis says that Uche has been forced to bide his time for first-team action, because a lack of game time left him struggling for fitness. He goes on to say that had Uche been fit, he would have gone straight into the first team, but was miles away from being able to play. - view external link (http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/Crewe-Alex-Steve-Davis-saluted-impact-loan/story-20600848-detail/story.html#ixzz2t28vFb8Y)
