My vote goes to Liam Sercombe for his 93rd minute heroics against the GLCT. I hope his act of selfless heroism for the Grecians spoilt the journey back for each and every one of our charity thieving neighbours.

Top bombing Liam - you're my HHOTD B)

93rd minute ? What a choker..

And whilst no one should condone the attempted assault by one of the bestest on a po**ey player post-match, we should perhaps be a little grateful that this latest attack was at least aimed at a partly able bodied person..

A "man" in his fifties FFS.

I feel sorry for Sonny as this is the second time he's been threatened or abused by his own "fans".

Shameful.:blue:

Not the first time, unlikely to be the last. Shockingly bad behaviour and yet more shame gets piled upon the club.

It's about time the few dropped their breathtaking arrogance and came to terms with the fact that they are a small time club that is occupying the lower reaches of Division 4 entirely on merit.

So where is the lack of facts here or are you now so down on your team, that the word of a player is now questioned, and I thought the News was always right. - view external link (http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/bradley-threatened-by-fan-after-game-1-5865783)

I love the way only one comment condones the action of the fan the rest continue to abuse the player.
And CHW here's one of those great comments you deny having ever be said...

Pat on the back for the 1,441 Pompey fans who travelled to the storm under water West country I have not included the other fan who ever it was ? as Saints the great attraction only managed 1041 STOKE fans Premier my back side and 26000 ish SAINTS fans ( Portsmouth FC The Home Of Has Beens Never Was And Never Will Be } who's the bestest 0f the bestest fans they are in div2

Though how Stoke only bringing a fraction of the away allocation makes us poor I do not understand. Especially when FP is currently 3,000 under capacity every home game.

It's just one more example of an unpalatable truth getting the total denial treatment - if the few don't like something, then it simply didn't happen. Same old, same old.. :s

Have to say I feel a little for Liam Sercombe whose 93rd minute heroics are in danger of being overshadowed by this latest unsavoury incident..

I was already looking forward to Tuesday night, to see if can get three points at Hull, when a quick look at the League 2 fixtures, for that evening , shows all the teams below Poopey (yeah I know it's not many), also playing.

If the results go as I would like, we will have 3 points in the bag and Poopey will be 1 point and 1 place outside the relegation zone. >:) >:) XD XD

Very good effort from the few, shame your maths is still ****. 28,093 home and 3,524 away makes 31617 available. Attendance was 27,987, leaves 3,630 of which 2,500 were empty away seats.Last home game at shed total attendance was 15,474 out of 20,700 that would be 5000 missing????

Maybe it just sounded empty.

I can't blame you for picking on this. It would be near impossible to find a worse plan for a football ground than we have. The ego that was Wupert had the camera's pointing at his area above the tunnel and someone (I'm guessing the police??) decided to put the away fans in the same camera shot. Hence we have the worst possible impression of our ground despite the place being full in so many parts.

Sort it out Saints. >:(

The best place to put the away section is the Kingsland but it doesn't work for many reasons. Itchen Central would make them even more conspicuous and visible.

Re-locating the cameras wont work either. How would you improve the layout of the ground ?

I kind of agree, but let's not kid ourselves, there were loads of empty seats in the home ends on Saturday, and those empty seats in the away end can be made available to home fans if the demand is there. For whatever reason, we have struggled to sell out this season. The atmosphere was pretty good on Saturday though.

Could they not just switch the visitors to the other side of the Northam stand, and put ours where the visitors currently are?

Would look better on the box and would still meet the requirements of the police, if it is them dictating that the visitors MUST be at that end of the stadium.

Has it got anything to do with the security box/centre being above and behind the visitors as well?

I think it's more to do with the layout of the concourses under the Northam. To re-house the away fans elsewhere would mean a bit of a re-design of partitions, probably new toilet facilities, catering, etc..

If I had a choice, I'd put the away fans in the Kingsland North..

Awaiting total and utter denial from the few, the most vehement of which will probably come from 'fans' (so called) who don't even bother going to games..
