Well, I didn't do too well with the preview, did I? Clueless.;D

So now for the review.

Fuel consumption was doubled as the coaches forged their way into the hurricane force head wind.

It was a "game of two halves" just like every other game in the country. One half we had the wind with us, and one against.

Uwe, in his wisdom had a bench of 5 substitutes which was almost as strong as his team of 11 players on the pitch. I assume he was resting Espi, Macmamamamamnum, McLean and McSreach for our inconvenient stepping stone to Wembley, next weekend.

As the game progressed the amount of possession increased, but not with open play. All possession was maintained by taking 28 corners. And therein lies a hint for next weeka's training. 28 corners and not a goal from any of them. Me thinks there is room for a bit of practice. 75% more shots than the opposition and still no goals. I've got a feeling there is a hint in there somewhere as well. Conceding 12 corners in the last 13
