Here yer gan moorland, a proper punk rock live performance. Though you will doubtless dismiss it because it's post 1977... - view external link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JpzZLcm6_s)

Good tune but The Buzzcocks were miles better.

They should make it compulsory at school to make ****agers listen to 'Singles - Going Steady'

It's so ****ing ace that there wasn't any room for stuff like Boredom and Six**** Again.

Fair enough, with Devoto the Buzzcocks were ace, however afterwards not quite so good. The Damned were a better band, although there was never much to choose between them live (even recently). Neither are in the same league 999 to be honest.

From what I have seen on footage Devoto and Shelley look well awkward performing together.

Shelley did borrow Devotos vocal style afterwards though.

Moorlad's writing in runes again.

New Rose, the song that changed my musical direction. It is a timeless classic.

I remember Nick Lowe racking out country music in the early 70s, Brinzley Swartz or something he was called then.
