Another last gasp pen gets poo the points.

Holtby showed again what a good passer he is.

Liverpool have benefited from a relaxed fixture list with no Europa league in the first half of the season.

I just hope the upcoming EL games do not take their toll as they did earlier.
Any coincidence that with just the EPL to concentrate on January and ist half of feb have gone fairly well? Any coincidence that all 3 managers that qualified their teams for EL football last season have all been sacked?
Another 5 games (3 epl) in 12 days coming up from 20th till 8th march.
Poo have 3 EPL games in 16 days from 23rd till 10th March.

So, let's hope we have no injuries and Lamela, Sandro and Vlad get back asap.

I liked the team that started.
With dembele up front he showed what damage he can do in the box.
If only he would consistently keep doing it instead of slipping into default.
We would get more goals and some penalties.

If Sandro was playing where Capoue was (although he was not too bad) I feel the midfield would have been much stronger.

Lennon and Townsend have to start putting them chances away.

A decent performance from us.
That save Cisse header from close range 2nd half...what was that all about?
When the ball came in he was offside and the player behind him, who the cross was aimed at, was at least 5 yards offside.

So, if it would have gone in would the geordies have been as quick to cry 'paid off' at the lino and ref?
There you go, swings and roundabouts.

I would be very worried if I was AP. Looks like as predicted JK is in line for his job as Pardew seems to have lost the dressing room.

I am going to have a score on AP as the next EPL sacking at 10-1.

I forgot JK was 'sacked' after they sold Cabaye :)

Good bet danegee as their "fickle" fans are already after his head for the 2nd time this season!

But I can't see Ashley getting rid as the pay off would be too high!!

Still a good performance from us and slowly creeping up on chelski and the scum.

Newcastle back to mid/lower prem obscurity right where they belong and its a pity I'm banned from their board as they would have got sum major stick today but I know that sad fuc.k, Pious Pat the Insidious rat always reads our board so I hope you're enjoying your slide down the table!!

I am!
