My team Carlisle have just signed Nacho Novo till the end of the season.

I know he's not pulled up any trees at Morton. Any chance of him springing into life and scoring a few goals or is he well over the hill.

Seriously??

XD XD XD XD XD

He's miles over the hill - he'll be nothing but a squad player at best.

I'm afraid his best days are over . Saw him earlier in the season at Palmerston and he was pretty poor to be honest.

Probably speaks volumes that bottom team Morton released him

Astonishing that he has bagged himself a deal at such a high level.

To put it simply - Novo has always been a pretty average player, what allowed him to compete as high as the SPL was his pace; he no longer has pace. Good luck, you'll need it! Pretty surprised Carlisle are looking at players released by the worst team in our Division, in all honesty, the players playing at the top end of our league would probably be average/mediocre in English League 1!

nacho has played at a decent level he may be getting on but his passion and hunger to succeeed may just make him a cult hero at brunton park lets be honest carlisle havent signed him on the blind hes obviously done well in bounce games and impressed the carlisle management team good luck to him

Was at raith v morton earlier in season, he scored and was man of match. He is past his best and tbh wasnt the greatest even in his prime, but should be a decent enough impact player in last 20 mins of games.

He's past it. Couldn't get a deal at Rangers in league 1 and was released from bottom club Morton after a short period of time.

As others have sad his main asset in his prime was his pace. This has more or less gone now. When he played against us for Morton at Palmerston he was totally ineffectual.

Good luck!
