Now we see the cause of Vincent Tan's festering discontent with Malky Mackay at Cardiff: he allegedly blew A?8.5M of the club's money by signing what looked like a whole-hearted centre forward (compared to Odemwingie, and poor Nicky was never given a chance) in Cornelius. Then the poor guy got injured early doors (we know all about that with Livermore) and it all went pear-shaped.
So that's why Malky lost his job. Just as well our club is not owned by a megalomaniac, or those signings of West, Audel and Molyneux could lead to him getting his jotters very quickly.
The moral of the story: don't throw in your lot with not fit and proper persons. Still, if the guy at Leeds can fully pay us for Luke Murphy, then that would be nice.
