Ali saves us?

Ali is having a good run, no doubt about it, but I was surprised to read today that he was voted player of the FA Cup 4th Round against Palace. I remember a couple of half decent stops, but I didn't think he had that much to do - it sounds like we had to rely on him alone to get us through. That's not my recollection of the match - anyone agree - or have I got my rose-tinted specs on again? :O

Most of those voters are probably from the Arabian peninsula. Most wigan fans don't realise how big Ali is out there.

I keep noticing Ali getting a high number of votes for man of the match on the official site after every game; even games where he hasn't been troubled by the opposition at all.

They are not as obsessive as Korean or Japanese football fans tho.
