My Dad played centre forward for Lancashire Youth and Tom Finney was one of the wingers - said he could "cross a ball onto a sixpence"

Loftouse, Finney, Matthews - that generation, and gentlemen of it's type, will never been seen again.

My Dad's hero, he was always telling me about how good Tom Finney was. RIP.

R.I.P Sir Tom Finney. My dad said that although Stan Matthews was a great player, he rated Tom Finney as better.

What was more important. He was a true gentleman.

He can have a chat with our Nat and Sir Stan now.
