Anyone know how fat off returning he is? I think with him in the team playoffs have to be a certainty.

Heard last night on good authority that Shaun was about 3 to 4 weeks away from fitness

I reckon the amount of game time he has missed it would be about end of April we will next see him :blue:

:D He will be fat if he is not training much.
The web site today says he hopes to be back fighting for a place in the team before the end of the season.B)

I realise the fat comment was just a typo but he looks really lean for someone who's not been training. Good on him for keeping off the pies.
Can't wait to see him back.

Meanwhile, Shaun Maloney is close to a return from a long-term hip injury.
The Scotland international, who has not played for the Latics since September, will feature for the club's development squad against Morecambe on Wednesday.
